Dale Dauten has been researching leadership and innovation since his time as a graduate student at Arizona State University and then at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
One of his early books prompted a government publication to call him a “guru†to White House staffers, and since then, his writings have been published in a dozen languages and have developed a worldwide following, especially in Japan. As founder of The Innovator’s Lab, Dale has engaged in idea generation with dozens of firms, including Georgia-Pacific, United Auto Group, General Dynamics, Caterpillar and NASA.
In addition to “J.T. & Dale Talk Jobs,†Dauten also writes “The Corporate Curmudgeon.” His work appears weekly in more than 100 newspapers. In 2006, Dale published (Great) Employees Only, in which he takes an inside look at how gifted bosses hire, de-hire and inspire, and shows workers how to emulate their tactics and success.
